What to bring to this class:

  • A few garments you’d like to revamp or decorate (e.g. T-shirts, denim jacket, jeans, linen pants, shirts or skirts) If you’re unsure - get in touch and we can help you decide

  •  Anything special you’d like to embellish with. (e.g. old favourite t-shirts of your favourite band, Nana's lace doilies, or see below for more inspiration) Raid the sewing cupboards of friends and rellies or find some interesting trims etc at OpShops. (Note: we’ll have some fun things too, but if you have your own bits and pieces, please bring them. And if you have some things you’ll never use, then why not bring them along for a Swap Box!)

  •  BYO your own thimble and small embroidery hoop (20-25cm) - if you have them. Otherwise we have some too.

  •  For more inspiration! sequins, wools and embroidery threads, decorative printed fabrics with interesting designs e.g. retro tea towels, textured fabrics, upholstery & tapestry fabrics, hi-vis reflecting tape, tuille, lace, trims & braids, buttons, beads and shoelaces, stretchy garden ties … silk flowers! Anything washable!

  • Snacks if you're likely to get hungry

What’s included:
