Come away with new sewing skills and a fabulous finished personal project in this 4 week beginner / refresher class. Suitable for absolute beginners aged 16+ and anyone wanting to get back into sewing that hasn't touched a sewing machine in years.
Located in our Kyneton Studio
What this course will cover:

Learning to use a sewing machine and mastering a variety of stitches and techniques (eg straight stitch, gathering, hemming and overlocking), and when to use different methods

You will be shown how to accurately take your own body measurements and get the right fit, as well as understanding patterns, and how to layout and cut fabrics accurately with minimal fabric waste.

Classes can also cover basics of zips, buttonholes and hand finishing a project, depending on your skill level.
